Where can I buy top soil for delivery in Dublin.How much do I need for a raised bed 6 feet by 3 feet?Will i need to add compost before I grow vegetables in it?

There is a misconception that it is necessary to have a raised bed for vegetable-growing. There are minor advantages and some disadvantages to a raised bed. If you have soil in the garden, start with that, removing all weeds first and digging over the area.

If you need topsoil, there are usually local suppliers, as it costs too much to transport far.
