trees for a small garden

Gerry, i am looking to plant one or two small tree -max height 15 feet, and min spread of a few feet,
i would love a plum tree or fig. i also really like the fragility and movement of maple trees, my garden is abot thirty feet long and twenty feet wide, i would love some suggestions, thak-you angela

Japanese maple would be a good choice, such as the coral bark maple, or an upright narrow juniper such as ‘Blue Arrow’ or Thuja ‘Smaragd’, or one of the smaller magnolias such as ‘Leonard Messel’.
