Established in 2000. The garden is located in a lush valley, which is bordered on one side by Brackloon Woods and the shoulder of Croagh Patrick on the other. It is est’d 19 years and is just over an acre in size. It is, in the main, a wildlife-friendly woodland garden in the traditional French potager/ English Cottage Garden style, consisting of native trees and flora intermingled with herbaceous perennials, hardy annuals, herbs, vegetables, fruit trees, fruit bushes and shrubbery, with an emphasis on planting for the native Irish honey bee.
