Month: February 2010

Really lovely day today and got to spend a few hours in the Garden bliss good for the soul! I spent most of the time clearing away all the dead foliage and debris  in the beds at the back of the house after the Winter and trying to survey the damage. It seems to be fairly serious with some contoneasters that we planted on a bank about two years ago looking really sick – also two bay’s that we had in pots not looking too good and God only knows what else, we are just going to have to leave them and see if any there is any life when there is a bit of growth. We got the play lawn mowed and it looks so much tidier hopefully Gerry will get the big lawn cut over the next few days if the weather stays dry. Lots of daffoldils and Tulips making good progress but a good couple of weeks later than other years. Hopefully the weather will start to get a bit milder and things will get a chance over the next few weeks.
