Here are a few of the orchids still in flower here.

The Epidendrum in photo three is just opening.

I am looking for a purple climbing rose to grow up a wall, I am quickly learning that purple climbing roses are few and far between. So far I have shorlisted ‘Night Owl’ and ‘Fallstaff’. Would anybody be able to recommend a varierty please?

This is what I call my Wild Garden. It was named as originally it was intended as a wild plant garden. This proved too difficult to maintain just working in the garden at  weekends. So I tried to change it to look like a woodland garden. The problem now is that the Echium has seeded itself in the path. So do I cut it down or leave it and try work around it. There is a fine line I think between “wild” and out of control.

I realy thought they would never flower as they have taken so long but worth it ,

They are not the trailing ones and are all the same colour .I will be doing these again next year and sow plenty more of them .
