Urban Plant Life

A number of years ago we noticed that there was no urban based garden centre in Dublin, unlike a number of other European cities. So we sought to fill that gap in the market and established Urban Plant Life garden centre.

We are still Dublin’s ONLY urban based garden centre situated at 110 /111 Cork Street, Dublin 8 in a historic property which is nestled in the heart of Dublin’s Liberties and is also the base of our interior landscaping business.

We stock one of the largest selections of ceramic / terracotta and decorative pots in Dublin, available in a myriad of styles, finishes and colours. We also stock a considerable range of stone garden ornamentation.

Our plant selection ranges from the smallest alpine to the biggest tree. We stock a wide selection of shrubs, climbers, ornamental grasses, bamboo, alpines, roses, hedging, ferns and trees both ornamental & fruiting. We also stock a varied selection of bulbs, seeds, seasonal plants and bedding, seasonal fruit and vegetables – in seed and plant form.

We have a dedicated bonsai and cacti section and have a large selection of both artificial and living house plants, in flowering and foliage form.

If it’s sundries you require to tackle that gardening job, check out our extensive selection at the garden centre.

Once you have shopped why not relax in our in house cafe – Blooms Cafe or sit atop our raised balcony while taking a relaxing sip of tea or coffee.

Alternatively why not shop from the comfort of your own armchair on our website which is now totally mobile phone compatable or avail of our Click and Collect service, great for the busy gardener.
