My name is Anthony O'Brien, I'm 41 and married with two young daughters. We live in Fermoy, Co.Cork. My wife is originally from this area, I originally come from Cork City. My very first job was planting strawberries for a local grower 'way back in 1984. My interest in horticulture grew very quickly and I have a passion for growing my own food ever since. I have a Certificate in Horticulture from the RHS which gives me a very good "base" for understanding the vast subject of "gardening". Building our house in rural Fermoy was a dream come through, I imagine I will be tinkering here for many years to come. I was thrilled to find Garden.ie Club.
