We moved to Longford from Dublin three years ago when our children left the nest. I like reading and visiting gardens with my Dublin friends. (to keep in touch with them). I was always interested in the garden but did not have enough garden to grow vegetables and fruit as well as flowers. Although I love gardening I am hopeless with the names and varieties of flowers and just buy what I like. My first year I had great success with vegetables and fruit but not so good after that as the weather has been so bad. Living in the Midlands we get a lot of rain!
