We have been in our house and garden for 25 years now and still feel like we're only starting. We are located on the banks of the river Rine where it flows into the Fergus and ultimately the Shannon estuary. The river is very tidal and floods right up to our boundary in spring tides. The area is a Special Area of Conservation and a Special Protected Area for birdlife.
