Hi, i'm Mary, We moved here to our new house just over 2 years ago .and had a blank canvas of a garden to work with. I love gardening and esp. love roses and perennials. My interest started when my parents handed me flower and veg seeds and gardening tools during my school hols in first year ,a few years ago now to keep me occupied. Very quickly I discovered. that rabbits were going to be my No.1 enemy!! They ate everything in the veg patch. My flower seeds survived in the garden much to my satisfaction and that was it, I was hooked . Our six children are at various stages in their lives from age 10 to 22. Hubby does all the heavy duty work in the garden and I get the best job of all visiting garden centres and planting up the borders. I'm also a member of the local flower club.
