I'm a keen gardener, by no means an expert but I totally enjoy it all the same. Everything I have learnt is from experience and many many tips from my ever faithful mum and I think I have inherited her wonderful green fingers. I love nature and the simple things in life. I also like very nice and pretty stuff but I do not believe in paying through the nose for it, particularly in this current climate. I garden for the pure pleasure of it, mostly. My favourite is usually making up arrangements in tubs and pots. Simple but massively effective. I am really pleased about my vegetable garden which I started this year. Its really exciting watching the growth and I can hardly wait til my crops reach my dinner table. I also love walking, cycling, reading, drawing, cooking and spending fun time with my friends. I love making things and I have a growing collection of clay and dough ornaments and kitchen accessories as well.
