70 year old with some ,very modest, success in local garden competitions.Restricted at times by ill health but at the moment very well and thourougly enjoying my garden and the weather..Unfortunately there is no local gardening club but I hope to build up a net work of gardening friends through this web site.I have developed an interest in dahlias this year and purchased some large ones at the garden show in phoenix park they are growing very well I also grew quite a few dwarf dahlias from seed and have filled a long narrow bed with them they are doing extremley well at the moment but I would welcome any tips on there care and that of the la.rger ones
