I moved to Wexford from Dublin in 2004 . I have retired now and split my time between Dublin and Wexford.

I would not be able to do it without my partner Barbara, "the weed queen". She is brilliant. A knife is her tool.

I am not much good at the names of plants, particularly the Latin names, but I try. Barbara is better, she is quite good and she can spell properly.

I did live in Clonsilla but moved to Wexford to get a life I could look forward to on my retirement and enjoy at weekends. I don't regret it for a minute. I look forward to every weekend. We both work very hard to keep the garden and then have a nice meal an a bottle of wine. Wine is my other passion.

I have four grown sons who visit now and again. I have two grandsons and a granddaughter.
