Hi, I'm married with three kids. Two teenagers, boy and girl and an eight year old girl who still thinks I'm god (bless her). Pressure of being self-employed has delayed the garden by years but thanks to the 'downturn' I have more time on my hands. We've lived here for 11 years and most of my work outside was structural. Out buildings, patio, dog run etc...I positioned the Workshop and the garden shed in such a way as to break the path of the prevailing south-westerlies. I also planted a beech hedge, which helps. Now it's time to grow things. Wish me luck.
