I am a bit of a beginner, especially with a garden of this size...I am having to learn to plant on a totally new scale. I love natural style gardens that will encourage plenty of wildlife. So I will be planting lots of native trees and shrubs over the next few years, and hope to develop a wildlife pond/wetland area too in time. I love cottage garden style perennials, and can't help getting drawn to favourites like foxglove, alliums, aquilegia, astrantia, hellebores...the list goes on!
