Cattle on Lawn

I had this misfortune of cattle getting on my lawn after i gave its its final mow, there is alot of hoof marks and sliding marks what can i do to repair the lawn especially at this time of the year, spade and repair the sod or sand /soil.

Get a wheel barrow and fill with good topsoil from the garden. Mix in a little compost if you like.

At each pock mark, hit the raised edges with the back of a shovel and then fill the remaining hole with soil and whack again.

Proceed to fill all the holes in this way and shake on a pinch of lawn seed, but the grass around the pock mark will grow over the mark in any case.
