Coral spot infected compost?

My pot-grown Rowan developed coral spot. I am aware the fungus lives in dead wood and as the tree was young and got wind damaged I presume it was susceptible to the disease. I have disposed of the tree but should I also dispose of the compost or can it be reused?

Coral spot spores are air-borne and would rot in compost, no problem about re-using it.
