Recent phenomenon on escallonia. I sprayed mine with a triazole fungicide and it works well.Have a firend who wants to plant escallonia, but not use chemicals – is it wise to plant? Or choose an alternative?

Escallonia leaf spot has become widespread and it can be very damaging. It is never a good idea to plant shrubs that are prone to disease, because it leads to the work of spraying or if this is neglected the plnats are unsatisfactory. Choose an alternative.
