In our garden there are hundreds of tiny white shells (like sea shells).we have never seen what lives in the shell.occasionally we have seen them on the tarmac and stuck to the windows of our house. do you know what these are and how to get rid of them. the garden is a new garden, approx 18mts. we only noticed these things about 6wks ago

These white spiral shells protect a tiny snail, which is  practically harmless when it comes  to damage to plants.  Live and let live!

The garden is an important habitat for wildlife.
