hi gerry, i have leylandii hedge which has grown quite tall, I would like to know how much can be cut from the top of it without killing it

Leyland cypress often gets too tall and the top can be cut off. Although it will not re-sprout from the cut branches, it will regenerate a top from the side growth. Cut off as much as you like.
