Mind-your-business, also known as baby’s tears, is a small low-growing weed with small leaves about the size of a match-head with fleshy pink stems. It grows in shade in lawns and in flower beds. It does not tolerate hard frost so it is a bigger problem in mild areas. Lawn sand and sulphate of iron give some control and the grass needs to be given fertilizer to boost growth.
