Paul’s Scarlett Hawthorn has not flowered and has now lost its leaves. Never looked particularly healthy. In good soil but a bit exposed to wind. I notice the bark has peeled exposing the centre of the trunk- maybe due to damage.

Pauls Scarlet is normally very tough and reliable, a form of hawthorn, possibly damage to the stem has allowed a fungus in, or growing in wet ground. Wait and see, it probably will die over winter. It can normally take a lot of exposure.
