Shamrock is an annual that grows and flowers, sometimes in the one year but more often, sprouting one summer and flowering the following year, setting seeds and withering eventually.

You should plant your plant in a sunny, well-drained spot, reaasonably weed-free,  and it might produce seeds and new plants for next year.
