seamus connolly asked 15 years ago

I have a skimmea japonica repotted in a large pot recently, but now i have noticed the top surface of the leaves seem to be ate away by something they are left with white patches as if the green surface was eaten away. i cant see any insects on it anywhere.

Probably snails grazing on the top part of the leaf. They feed at night and hide by day. You will probably see their littel black droppings.
