Sulphate of Iron

Anne Strain asked 14 years ago

Could you please tell me what amount of sulphate of Iron I use to what amount of water? I have read that you can put it on the lawn but I cannot find what ratio, I would be really happy if you could help me.

Sulphate of iron is applied at 5 to 10 grams per square metre, either carried in sand or water, to control moss.

Test how many square metres your sprayer or watering can covers using just water and then make up the required solution and test this on an out of the way area first before doing the whole lawn so that you have got the mix right.
