Very sick tomato plants

Jon Macro asked 15 years ago

My Sweet 100 tomato plants are stunted and the leaves are dying. I have grown them for 10+ years with no problems.See photos. Thanks . I have looked at photos online but can’t decide what is wrong.

These plants look like they have been affected by some outside factor, possibly too much fertilizer or weedkiller residue. The soil looks good and the plants appear to have been growing well until the problem arose.

When this is the case, it is usually some new outside factor, if you can think what it was. There appears to be some white substance on the soil, fertilizer?
