My lawn is patchy and brown in one half . In March I put on a top dress of fertilizer/ compost / grass seed. I used Westland feed/ weed / moss killer in April and Westland Aftercut , after each cut. I treated the patchs with miracle grow patch miricle. It gets cut at least once weekly and watered during the dry spells. This formula usually works well for me but this year the result is poor. Any advice would be welcome.

it was very dry this spring and it is possible that the grass suffered some scorching when fed wheb dry.
It is always important to have enough moisture in the soil when feeding.
