Of late I have noticed my strawberry fruits to be of poor condition. The fruit have all cracks on them. Why is that?I also noticed this year a few of the fruits to be of abnormal shape, is that okay?

These abnormalities are almost certainly due to the unusual weather conditions of sunshine and showers for two months.

The plentiful supply of rain and periods of bright sunshine cause uneven grown and fruit cna split.

The deformed fruits are due to uneven pollination, weather related, when not all of the seeds have formed properly, each seed controlling the area of the fruit just behind it.
