I sorted my potatoes before i pitted them. last week need to get some out, and found a few bad ones in the pit. what can i do to make sure all my potatoes dont go bad. will i be able to save them. there is enough potatoes in the pit to keep me going till middle next year, i dont want to lose them

In general, rots do not spread through a pit of potatoes. There are various rots, some do not spread and some do, including bacterial rot and grey mould.
The pit usually dries a bit after a time, but check and if you find some rotting, you will have to go through the pit and clean out the rotten ones.
